Executive Chef Evan Waters is a trained chef of 20 years and currently the Certified Dietary Manager at Copper Queen Community Hospital (CQCH). Chef Waters oversees all aspects of patient dietary production, staffing, purchasing and all budgetary concerns. He holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Music and three Associate Degrees in Culinary Arts, Dietary Management and Voice Performance. 

 

Chef Waters has vast experience teaching culinary classes to children, high school students and adults of all ages. He has traveled extensively to schools and other institutions to consult and educate. He has attended many international conferences on food security and sustainable systems of food production. He has been involved in all areas of production; including cruise lines, private trains, wellness centers, large catered events, special events and conferences, restaurants and the James Beard Foundation dinner.

 

In addition, Chef Waters was the Director for the Bisbee Food Co-op and is a member of the Chef’s Collaborative, a group of professional chefs concerned with regional, organic, seasonal and sustainable food. He is also a member of Somos la Semilla, a grassroots organization promoting wellness through available local food as well as an active member of the American Culinary Federation.
