Laboratory Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experience Supervisor MT to join our laboratory team. Qualifications are as follows: graduate of Medical Laboratory Technologist program (BS) and ASCP-MT certified with at least 5 years of laboratory experience. Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service with all staff and patient groups. Proficiency in all areas of laboratory including Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Body Fluid Analysis, Blood Bank and Microbiology. Phlebotomy skills are required for all age groups. Duties include supervising and coordinating activities pertaining to QC, QA, PI, POC programs, regulatory requirements and overall functionality of the laboratory and POC clinics. Assures that the lab effectively performs all phases of testing and that the staff, instrumentation, policies and procedures operate efficiently, provides quality services and efficient and effective leadership. Family Practice Physician for Quick Care

We have an exciting and unusual opportunity for a Family Practice Physician. We are nearing the completion of a $4 million project in Douglas, Arizona, which includes a brand-new ambulatory care center called the Quick Care. The Quick Care is adjacent to our existing Rural Health Clinic and will have a close relationship with our Emergency Department in Bisbee, making acute consultations and transfers simple. The level of care will be enhanced by on-site Radiology services including CT and an on-site Laboratory that will provide rapid testing to include Troponin, D-Dimer and Quant BHCG. The Quick Care will function like a low-acuity Emergency Department, but will not receive EMS traffic.  In addition to evaluating and treating a spectrum of ambulatory complaints and injuries, we will provide evaluation and intravenous management of a variety of more acute conditions such as abdominal pain, renal colic, dehydration and atypical chest pain. The Quick Care will be open from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.  We anticipate a daily patient volume of 10 to 30 patients.  The staffing model consists of one front desk clerk, one experienced Registered Nurse and one experienced Mid-Level or Physician. For the right Family Practice Physician, the Quick Care is an exciting opportunity.   They could leave a typical 5-days-a-week practice seeing chronic patients and make a career out of the Quick Care.  For 4 shifts per week, we would provide a base salary of $200K and an additional incentive bonus structure.  We provide 3 weeks of vacation, 1 week of paid CME, and comprehensive benefits including no-contribution health insurance. The Quick Care will provide an invaluable level of experience to a Family Practice Physician that is interested in developing an acute care or emergency medicine foundation.  The salary and benefits are hard to beat, and the prospect of a 3-day weekend every week in the year-round sunny climate of Douglas should generate a lot of interest.
